Revitalize Your Skin with Nature’s Face & Body Scrub

A caressing peach skin, a rosy complexion, and refined pores. We reveal why weekly peelings for the face and body are part of the beauty program.

Rub and Feel Good for Peelings

In the case of peeling products, the cleaning effect of surfactant preparations is increased by adding slightly abrasive, i.e., rubbing additives. These are fine, granular rub-off substances of natural or synthetic origin. Microcapsules loaded with oil are also used as grinding tools. Corned and dead cells are “abraded” from the skin surface as gently as possible with the help of these abrasives chemically and mechanically. At the same time, the procedure comes with a facial massage, resulting in improved blood circulation. This procedure aims to smoothen the skin for an antiaging effect and increase elasticity, making the appearance more pleasing and fresher.

Easy to Apply Scrubs On Face and Body

For face

After scrubbing the face, the peeling product, available in various forms, is applied to the moistened face and neck and massaged with circular, gentle movements. Facial brushes or massage gloves intensify the effect. Finally, the face and neck need rinsing with water. After the peeling, a rich facial moisturizes the skin.

For Body

A shower cream peeling is recommended for the body since it contains micro-fine peeling granules and valuable vitamins, which gently and effectively remove dead skin cells directly while showering. Peelings are not suitable for removing make-up. On the other hand, it is advisable to exfoliate around eight to twelve hours before using a self-tanner.

It is also a good idea to use exfoliates once or twice a week to supplement daily cleansing. The regular use of peelings does not make the skin thinner or anti aging effect faster. The treatment only removes dead skin cells that are already in the process of peeling off. In addition, the care substances can help relax and soothe the skin.

Different Forms of Facial Peelings or Scrubbing Products

Peelings are offered in gel and cream form. There are also peeling soaps and soap-free wash bars with a peeling effect. Depending on the formulation, the products are tailored to the unique needs of dry, oily, or combination skin. Others are for all skin types.

Peeling gel:

Foaming gel with fine-grain peeling substances and a refreshing effect. It can be used in between for deep cleansing and gently frees the skin of dead flakes. The rubbing effect stimulates blood circulation and makes the skin look more vital and fresher.

Peeling Cream:

This product can be used on all skin types after regular cleansing, even for every dry use. It also supplies the facial skin with fat and moisture binders after the proper massage. The peeling balls often consist of synthetic granules, then rinsed off again. They are made from polyethylene and nylon.

One of the advantages is their evenly soft-rounded effect and, therefore, it is relatively gentle on the skin. Sometimes, there are also ground peach stones or jojoba wax balls in it. The latter are massaged into the skin until they dissolve completely. Ground peach kernels have a less even surface. For example, other natural rub-off substances are almond bran, sea sand, or kaolin – rock rich in alumina that soaks up excess fat from unclean skin.

Peeling soaps:
These soaps are primarily transparent and enriched with grated nutshells, dried wheat, thyme, or algae. Other products contain ground loofah, which is made from the solid fibers of a tropical type of cucumber. The contained glycerin binds water as a moisturizer and prevents the skin from drying too much.

Peeling pads: Here, the active ingredients are in airtight packaged cleaning pads. They are only activated when you open them. The pads are moistened until they foam, then the skin is massaged with them. The aim is to make the complexion appear clean and smooth. Another effect: the subsequent care is better absorbed.

Sensitive skin:
People with sensitive skin and inflammatory skin diseases should avoid mechanical peelings and switch to other variants. A grainless peeling with enzymes that break down the putty substance between the horny lamellae of the skin and loosen flakes is ideal for sensitive and mature skin. These peelings are applied like a cream and washed off after exposure time.

Exfoliators for men’s skin: are also available for the unique needs of men’s skin, which are different from those of women. Men have very robust skin with large pores, which usually produces a lot of fat and becomes horny. Often the skin is shiny, especially on the chin, nose, and forehead; the pores clog easily. Peelings can also help against this, as can blackheads or ingrown whiskers. They also prepare the skin very well for the wet shave. The blade slides seamlessly over the peeled skin and delivers fewer scratches or fine cuts to the skin. Exfoliators for men are called soap-free wash bars available with a light peeling effect, as peeling gels and as two-in-one peeling for body and face.

Caribbean Mystique Spa’s Scrubbing tip

If peelings are used regularly, wrinkles, scars, pimples, and skin impurities are reduced, preventing their formation.
